Yes February!
Cricky. Ok, so we all know that there's been a lack of diving right? Hell, I was rightly punished for it at the Christmas meal! So, here we are in sunny February in one of the warmest climates the earth has to offer (honest!) and so a dive trip to sea seems to solve the issue. I know it's early in the season but hey (early, you ask. Well ok, the season hasn't started yet!)
We are brave. We are intrepid. We are true British divers - proof of our hardiness is not needed!!!
We are faced by the beautiful sea. Its power, strength and beauty in front of us. Our diving knowledge, understanding of the sea allows us to tame such a super-human beast (!) and then we enter the water... in pairs... and we confront... haze! We ain't seen anything. For me, at least, well, Nick isn't the most pleasant buddy to look at! So I've not missed much on that front... But still, a two hour drive for seeing nothing - although the were seals interested in us (see pics)
Vis of a mighty half metre is proof as to why people don't bloody dive when the weather's off - and why we cancelled in October.
Oh, well. Better luck next time...
